Ruptures in the Form of Knowledge
Among other issues, I highlight Foucault's speech about ruptures in the way of knowing things or in the form of power relations. Foucault questions learning in its classical form and discipline as a method of organizing learning. And at this point we question the societies that have in their 'modus operandis' productivity as their main focus and the generation of capital, generating development in the capitalist vision of the organization of these political forms. And more, colonizing knowledge, modifying learning from cultures that have in their knowledge; art, beliefs, laws, morals, customs and all habits and skills acquired exactly as it is. They interfere with your education. Knowledge is no longer transferred from one generation to another. Education is formed through witnessed situations and experiences lived by each individual throughout his life in that society that starts to live according to other customs, serving the interest of capital, of contemporary, consumerist society.
And in these imperialist societies governed by policies that permeate it with the same forms of power; its hospices, penitentiaries, social programs that are created to treat its excluded are mirrors of this power and demonstrates its relationship with them.
How to produce social transformation? How to think of psychology as an instrument of change?
For me, social transformation goes mainly through academia. This same medium that produced the discourse must produce the means by which the transformation proposals will be discussed and applied.
It is necessary to gather our 'Doutos'; professors, philosophers, health professionals while involved with research and knowledge production. From here; discuss, develop, apply, evaluate, discuss again, apply again...
Transformation is a continuous process of those who work for knowledge, seeking knowledge so that, according to the needs of the culture that establishes it, it makes continuous development through education that is built through witnessed situations and experiences lived in this society throughout its life .
Psychology as an instrument of change provokes conflicts, giving meaning to proposals according to the uniqueness of the groups involved, enabling discussions, punctuating speeches. Its role should be the same as always, listening to the speech, reframing the deviations, accompanying the meaning and returning the human to society.
